Due to the fact that we are in an exceptional area for birdwatching, due to the migration routes, this activity is very educational and interesting. Depending on the season, several species of seabirds can be observed, from Alcatraz (Morus bassanus), the Cagarra (Calonestris diomedea), the Masters Soul (hydrobates pelagicus) or some rare species.

 

Due to the fact that we are in an exceptional area of birdwatching because of the migration routes, this activity is very educational and interesting. Depending on the season several species of seabirds can be observed, from the Northern gannet (Morus bassanus), the Cory´s shearwater (Calonectris diomedea), the Storm petrel (Hydrobates pelagicus) or some other rare sighting.

We are on the south coast of Portugal, where we have excellent sea conditions all year round for surfing. We are a destination where we can find good consistent waves, because we are also close to the west coast and it influences our sea. In this fantastic climate in the Algarve we can find good waves almost every day. Praia de Burgau has waves from the middle of the beach to the western part of the cliff, which works when the swell is high on the west coast. This spot offers very smooth waves, fun lefts and rights, which are great for beginners.

 

We are in the south coast of Portugal, in the southern region where we have excellent sea conditions all year for surfing. This is a great destination to find excellent consistent waves because we are also near by the west coast so, in our fantastic weather, we are able to find waves almost every day. Burgau Beach has waves in the middle and also towards the west side of the cliffs that works when is big swell on the west coast. This surf spot offers quite mellow waves, super fun lefts and rights, which are great for beginners.
